I started this series for two reasons: missing Eve and Roarke and wanting to read something from James Patterson since forever. So this series was his smaller and I usually want to read them all after a taste and that was the only reason to start with Private.

I got to say the story was better than expected and this oldie from the TBR pile became easily one of my favorite reads of 2015. I read really fast and the plot kept me hanging with the twists. It was really great to follow Jack Morgan handling three cases very high priority. I think the serial murder case was the worst one but we can see the author wanted to keep everyone hooked and decided to make the worst case possible jut to make sure it worked. But to me the best part is how fast everything works and we see Jack has more like a family bond to some people that work for him.

I’m really trying not to say something to spoil the story, but I think it’s worth a shot if you like mysteries.
